Lottery Information

Due to anticipated demand, access to certain events will be determined through a lottery system. Entering the lottery does not guarantee a Meet & Greet spot.

ENTERING THE LOTTERY:

• Entry into the lottery is free.
• Attendees may submit one entry per person.
• You must have a valid convention badge to participate.
• Panelists and staff are also authorized to enter the lottery draw.
• Duplicate entries will be removed and may result in all entries associated with that attendee being disqualified.
• All entries must be submitted before the posted lottery deadline.
• Entries submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
• There is no advantage to entering early. All eligible entries submitted before the deadline will have an equal opportunity to be selected.

WINNER SELECTION:

• Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
• The number of winners will be based on the number of Meet & Greet spots available.
• Being selected gives you access to the Meet & Greet only for you for the assigned time.
• Lottery spots cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or given to another attendee.
• Winners will be required to present identification at Registration to obtain your Meet & Greet wristband.

WINNER NOTIFICAITON & CLAIMING YOUR SPOT:

• Winners will be notified sing the contact information provided on the lottery entry.
• Winners must follow the instruction in their notifications to claim their spot. If a winner does not claim their spot by the stated deadline, their spot may be forfeited and offered to another randomly selected attendee.
• Likewise, if you do not wish to claim your spot once you are selected, let us know so we can offer it to the next person.
• Attendees are responsible for providing accurate contact information and checking for their notification.

IF YOU ARE NOT SELECTED: 

• Entry into the lottery does not guarantee participation in the Meet & Greet.
• Attendees who are not initially selected may be placed into a randomized alternate pool.
• If a selected attendee forfeits or does not claim their spot, an alternate may be contacted.
• Being selected as an alternate does not guarantee a Meet & Greet spot.

IMPORTANT RULES:

• One Meet & Greet opportunity is permitted per selected attendee.
• Lottery entries generated by bots, scripts, automated systems, or other methods intended to gain an unfair advantage are prohibited.
• Attempts to manipulate the lottery, submit entries under multiple identities, or otherwise circumvent these rules may result in disqualification.
• Meet & Greet access is subject to the convention's Code of Conduct and all applicable event policies.
• The Meet & Greet schedule and availability are subject to change due to circumstances beyond the convention's control.
