Annual Charity Auction
Anime USA’s annual Charity Auction will once again be supporting our local charity of choice, the Create Arts Center in Silver Spring. The Create Arts Center has provided art classes, art therapy and art-related community outreach across the DC metro region since 1986.
Items are graciously donated from Artists and Dealers at Anime USA as well as select items donated by the convention, then auctioned off in both a silent auction and loud auction, complete with a returning Auctioneer who… still hasn’t caught up on anime since about 2006.
Previous lots have included everything from pins, pocky, and posters to signed memorabilia from our guests, one-of-a-kind art, or items inspired by our convention’s theme.
While we never know exactly what’s going up on the block, whenever possible highlights will be posted to our social media accounts for the curious. We also can confidently say that we raise over $1,000 annually, 100% of which is donated to Create Arts Center to support art education in DC.
