Going forward up until convention, new email newsletters will be coming out every Monday featuring different themes and parts of the convention that we have planned for 2025. We are extremely excited to be able to put this together and our teams have been working diligently to make this a great year.

Hello, Anime USA!  
 

My name is Meredith Bare, and I’m the Chairperson of AUSA for 2025.  I’ve been staffing this convention since 2005, working behind the scenes with Panel Programming and Tech.  You might not have noticed me scurrying by, setting up a workshop or organizing our charity auction, but I’ve been hard at work for decades making those connections and having a blast.  I’m honored to have been tapped for Con Chair duties this year, and give back to the convention that’s been the source of so many happy memories for me over the last twenty years.Anime USA, its staff, and its members are a wildly diverse group, and we’re delighted to bring everyone together again in 2025 for our 25th convention.  This year, with a little bit of elbow grease and a whole lot of love, we’re proud to present LIVE at Anime USA — a celebration of the sheer variety of Anime, Gaming, and Japanese Culture fandoms, pulled out of the digital and into the real world for all of us to experience.  Whether it’s meeting voice actors, interacting with artists, joining a new club, or reuniting with old friends, it all comes together here for three days of magic, mayhem, and memories.

New this year, we will be using Discord as a digital guidebook for convention attendees. Things will still be accessible via our website and limited convention details will be available by paper as in past years, but Discord will act as a ‘central hub’ for updates, announcements, schedule changes, and support. The marketing team will be monitoring the discord throughout the convention to reply to questions and assist you as needed.

Jack Stansbury is a voice actor known for bringing to life the English voices of Axel in Shinichirō Watanabe’s series LAZARUS, Aqua in Oshi No Ko, Ragna in Ragna Crimson, and Mendo in Urusei Yatsura. His voice can also be heard in Genshin Impact, Kaiju No. 8, The Dangers in My Heart, The Eminence in Shadow, Akiba Maid War, and many more.

Outside the world of anime, Jack voices the entire male cast of the hit animated YouTube series SolarBalls, which boasts over 1.6 million subscribers and more than 300 million views.

When he’s not behind the mic, Jack is active in the Houston theater scene, most recently appearing in the Houston Shakespeare Festival’s productions of Romeo & Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
